LOS ANGELES, CA – A car crashed into a home in the Hancock Park community of Los Angeles Thursday, killing the driver in the process, reports Fox LA.
A Mercedes was speeding on Third St when it hit a tree which sent it airborne and into the garage of a home on S Rimpau Blvd.

According to witnesses, four other cars were speeding in the area before the crash. Investigators believe street racing was a factor in the crash.
The Mercedes became engulfed in flames. The fire department put out the fire. First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
