SAN DIEGO, CA – A car struck and seriously injured a skateboarder on the 1900 block of Hotel Circle North Sunday night, reports NBC 7.
The collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. A 2015 Dodge Dart, driven by a 19-year-old was traveling west on Hotel Circle North when they struck a 33-year-old riding skateboard.

According to the driver, he did not see the skater. The skater was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation and police have not disclosed if the driver of the dart will face any charges.
